Meet Liz
Hi, I’m Liz.
I guide women in midlife-ish to walk the Camino.
I’ve walked the Camino four times, twice on my own and twice with a Flora on Foot X Fresco Tours group. Each time I fell in love with everything about it and learned so much about myself.
I loved the meditative walking and chatting with myself. I loved being outside all day and the peaceful rhythm of Camino life. I loved traveling by foot through farms and vineyards and little towns. I loved meeting other pilgrims, sharing tips and stories on the trail or over a communal dinner. I even loved carrying my pack, washing my undies, and walking when it rained.
I learned that walking at my own pace is the definition of self-care. I learned how to flex my bravery muscles. I learned how to unplug and rest.
I came home more connected to myself, grateful for my midlife body, and inspired — personally and professionally — for this next phase of life.
Now, I guide small groups of women in midlife-ish to walk the Camino de Santiago and to make this bucket-list experience meaningful during this potent time of life.
It’s a joy and an honor to share this special experience with you.
“Walking the Camino changed my life. It brought me back to myself, gave me time and space to listen for my purpose, and was vital for my menopause journey.”
— Liz Vivian
