Meet Liz

Hi, I’m Liz.

I guide women in midlife-ish to walk the Camino.

I’ve walked the Camino five times, twice on my own, once with my family, and twice with my Flora on Foot X Fresco Tours groups. Each time I fell in love with everything about it and learned so much about myself.

I love the meditative walking and chatting with myself. I love being outside all day and the peaceful rhythm of Camino life. I love traveling by foot through farms and vineyards and little towns. I love meeting other pilgrims, sharing stories on the trail or over a simple dinner. I even love carrying my pack, washing my undies, and walking when it rains.

I keep learning to trust myself, how to unplug and rest, that walking at my own pace is the definition of self-care.

Every single time I come home more connected to myself, grateful for my midlife body, and inspired — personally and professionally — for this next phase of life.

This is what I want for you. Now, I guide small groups of women in midlife-ish to walk the Camino de Santiago and to make the most of this bucket-list experience during such a potent time of life.

It’s a joy and an honor to share this special experience with you.

“Walking the Camino changed my life. It brought me back to myself, gave me time and space to listen for my purpose, and was vital for my peri/menopause journey.”

I’m a glass-is-half-full person, seeking work-life harmony, and always looking forward to the next adventure.

I bring warmth, good energy and equal parts enthusiasm and pragmatism to every interaction. I’m a skilled coach and a seasoned group leader.

I’ve walked two Caminos on my own, in 2019 and 2022. In 2025, I walked three Caminos — in the spring with my first two Flora on Foot X Fresco Tours guided groups and in the summer with my family.

I’m a Red School trained Menstruality & Conscious Menopause Mentor and a certified FEMM and teenFEMM teacher. At Raising Flora, I’m all about giving tweens and teens a healthy and empowered start with their menstrual cycle.

I was honored as a “40 Under Forty” by Puget Sound Business Journal and a “Superhero for Washington Families” by ParentMap.

My husband, daughter and I are a tight knit family who love travel, outdoorsy adventures, and good food. We live in Seattle, WA, USA with our big dog.
