Goosebumps moment! I’m so excited for you to join us to walk the Camino Portugués April 29 to May 9, 2026.

We partner with Fresco Tours, a well-loved and experienced tour company based in Bilbao, Spain. Fresco guides have been leading walks on the Camino de Santiago since 1999. Fresco guides are all bilingual in English and Spanish and are either Spanish or live in Spain year-round.

What’s included on your Camino:

  • Inspiration, expertise, and support from Liz before, during, and after your Camino

  • 2 top-notch, experienced, bilingual group leaders who are Spanish or live in Spain year-round

  • Unique accomodations at charming restored manor homes and 3-4 star hotels

  • Fabulous food: all your meals are included and weather permitting, our famous gourmet picnics showcase local flavors and give you a wonderful midday break

  • Support vehicle and all luggage transfers so you don’t need to carry a heavy pack and can get a ride if you need to rest

  • Small groups of 12 - 16 women in midlife-ish

What you’re responsible for:

  • Airfare to and from Europe

  • Local transportation to and from the beginning and end of the tour

  • Travel insurance

  • Tips, if you’d like to thank your Spanish tour leaders, local guides, bus driver, and chambermaids for quality service

  • Your preparation — training, packing, showing up with an open heart

  • Carrying your small daypack with water, sunglasses, and other incidentals

The full cost of this trip is $7700 for one person in a twin room. You are booking before September 31 so you’re getting the Early Bird Special and will pay just $6999. You will pay a 50% deposit of $3499.50 today. You will pay your balance of $3499.50 at least 90 days before your trip. A limited number of double and single rooms are available. To book a single room for an extra $750, you can add the Single Room Supplement Deposit to your cart before you check out. During the check-out process, you will fill out a short form with basic information and acknowledge Raising Flora LLC and Fresco Tours policies then go to your cart to enter credit card info. After your booking is received, you’ll get a Flora on Foot confirmation and link to sign our waiver and trip agreement.
